Miscellaneous

A home for the smaller projects and tactile creative moments that don’t quite fit elsewhere but still show a bit about how my brain works.

Waleema

Breathe Beirut through a brand. That was the challenge set by restaurant owner Fadi Chafi, who I worked with on renaming and rebranding his existing Lebanese concept, Mezza House.

We renamed Mezza House as Waleema, drawing from the Arabic “Awlam” - meaning 'to gather over a meal/feast', and I built a visual world around uneven letterforms, Levantine colour and a modern take on traditional tile patterns.

Notes on the Land

Working with non-profits is a personal passion. This project, Notes on the Land was a collaboration with a social entrepreneur with a vision to see the land use and planning in the UK evolve as we think about the legacy we leave for generations to come.

Due to the personal nature of the work and small batch send to high-net worth philanthropists I was able to handcraft a number of details, making this invitation to partner really quite special.

Le Bon Breton

Butter, as it should be. For this packaging design concept I took inspiration from the Breton regional flag for the lines around the typography, and looked at classic French illustrations to inspire the style for the inside of the sleeves.
